This is a two-part teaching entitled Principles of Impartation. This week in Part 1, we’ll discuss God’s desire to empower believers with different anointings through impartation so that they are equipped to advance the gospel. As well, we’ll examine four different principles that contribute to receiving an impartation of anointing. Next week in Part 2, I want to share about activating an impartation and then discuss the high priority God places on our heart-attitude in the area of giving.

그리하여 하나님께서 여러분을 부르셔서 여러분에게 주신 그 소망이 무엇인지,
하나님께서 성도들에게 주신 상속의 영광이 얼마나 풍성한지,
하나님께서 우리 믿는 사람에게 강한 힘으로 활동하시는 그 능력이 얼마나 큰지를
여러분이 알게 되기를 바랍니다(엡1:18-19).
The people of Ephesus were blessed! Here’s why. They received a powerful message by the apostle Paul written during his imprisonment (most likely from Rome). In his letter he gave them wise counsel, and then from a perspective soaked in personal intimacy with Jesus, he shared the desire of his heart for their spiritual well-being (Eph. 1:18-19).

GOD WANTS TO EMPOWER THE SAINTS

바울은 에베소 성도들이 하나님께서 그들을 위해 원하신 풍성함을 즐기길 원했습니다.

Paul wanted the Ephesians to enjoy the richness of what God wanted for them. He was a man of prayer and he prayed for the Ephesians that the eyes their understanding would be enlightened and that they would know the hope of God’s calling, as well as the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints (Eph 1:17-19). Isn’t that what we all want? When we’re rooted and grounded in such knowledge we can easily leap over enemies such as discouragement and rejection.

If we read further in this section of scripture, we come to this: “And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all” (vs. 22-23). The church is the body of Christ. His body, the fullness of Him; it’s the church. Not just the evangelist, pastor, prophet, or teacher. Not just the one who is in “ministry.” God is breaking down the mentality that separates clergy from laity because there is an inheritance and it’s in the saints and it’s for all those who believe.

우리 모든 믿는 자들은 무엇을 받아야 합니까?
바로 하나님 아버지께서 예수를 죽은 자 가운데서 살리신 동일한 권능을 받아야 합니다.
잘 알려진 부흥사나 혹은 치유의 은사를 받은 분만이 아니라

What do all believers receive? The same power that God the Father worked to raise Jesus from the dead is what God gives to all believers; not just “big name” evangelists or the ones that have the gift of healing. I want to say that according to Ephesians 1 our inheritance is God’s power to do exploits in His name (like raising the dead) and it’s toward us who believe.

그러므로 치유 기적의 기름 부음은 바로 여러분의 것입니다!
동일하게 제가 가진 것 역시 여러분의 것입니다!
동일하게 베니 힌 목사님에게서 역사한 것이 바로 여러분에게 역사할 것입니다!
오늘날 그리스도의 몸에서 우리는 치유 기적의 기름 부음이
오직 사역자만을 위함이라고만 생각합니다.
그러나 하나님은 성도가 선지자 ‘직분’으로 기능하지는 않더라도,
선지자로서의 기름 부음 혹은 동일한 은사로 기능하기를 원하십니다.
또한 복음전도자의 ‘직분’으로 기능하지는 않더라도,
주께서 우리 모두가 복음전도자의 기름 부음 혹은 동일한 은사로 기능하기를 원하십니다.
So the miracle healing anointing is yours! In the same way that I have it, it’s yours! In the same way that it is available to Benny Hinn, it’s available to you! I want you to think about that because in the body of Christ today we have a mentality that the miracle healing anointing is just for the ministers. It’s like an unspoken message. However, God wants to activate the saints to operate in the same gifting or anointing as the prophet even though they might not be functioning in the “office” of a prophet. He wants us all to function in the same gifting or anointing as the evangelist even though they might not be functioning in the “office” of an evangelist.

하나님의 은혜로 사도, 선지자, 목사, 교사 혹은 복음전도자의 겉옷이
여러분에게 임할 수 있습니다[오중사역 (엡4:11)].
겉옷은 ‘…의 직분’과 함께 가며, 영향력과 단상과 관련되어 있습니다.
예를 들어, 매일 거리에서 영혼을 구하는 기름 부음을 가질 수 있지만,

A mantle may fall on you by the grace of God concerning the office of the apostle, prophet, pastor, teacher, or evangelist [the five-fold ministry (Eph. 4:11)]. Mantles go hand in hand with the “office of ...” and they involve influence and platform. For example, you may have an anointing to win souls every day on the street but you don’t have the influence of Billy Graham. You might have a prophetic anointing and get just as many dreams and visions as any of the prophets like Rick Joyner, for example. You might even have more dreams and visions (than they do), but that doesn’t make you a prophet because you won’t have the ear of the president like they do.

하나님께서 믿는 자에게 복음전도자, 사도, 선지자, 교사의 겉옷을 주실 때
거기에는 영향력과 단상이 있게 됩니다.
복음전도자의 직분은 복음전도 하는 사람이 터치할 수 없는 영향력을 가집니다.
선지자의 직분은 우리가 매일 꿈과 환상을 보고 예언을 하더라도,

When God places the mantle of the evangelist or apostle or prophet or teacher on a believer, there is an influence or a platform that comes with it. With the office of the evangelist comes an influence that a person who is evangelistic never touches. With the office of the prophet there is an influence and a platform in high places that some of us may never reach even though we may have dreams and visions and prophesy every day. Having a prophetic gift doesn’t make someone a prophet.

하나님의 선택에 의해서 겉옷이 사람의 삶에 임하게 됩니다.
‘겉옷의 부르심(콜링)’이 있다면, 주께서 겉옷을 풀어 주실 것입니다.
저는 제 겉옷을 누군가에게 줄 수 없습니다.
그러나 저는 제 기름 부음을 주거나 혹은 임파테이션 해 줄 수는 있습니다.
저는 기름 부음을 임파테이션시킴으로
그들이 복음전도, 치유, 기사와 이적 그리고 기적들을 하는데
역할을 담당할 수 있게 할 수 있습니다.
그러나 그들은 한 번에 10명 이상에게 역사하지 못 할 것입니다.
제가 단지 안수했기 때문에
내일 당장 6만 명의 사람들에게 설교하게 되는 것은 아니기 때문입니다.
A mantle comes upon a person’s life by the choice of God. If there is a “mantle call” on your life, then God will release a mantle. I can’t give someone my mantle but I can give or impart my anointing. I can impart to someone the anointing to function in evangelism, healing, signs, wonders and miracles but they may never touch more than 10 people at one time. Just because I lay hands on someone doesn’t mean that tomorrow they’re going to preach to 60,000 people.

So let’s take a look at how believers can receive an impartation of an anointing.

안수
THE LAYING ON OF HANDS

히브리서 기자는 높은 부르심으로 권고하면서 ‘안수’의 교리를 언급했습니다(히6:2).
안수에 대해 살펴보기 전에 질문 하나 드리겠습니다.
우리가 어느 본문에서 안수에 대해 깨닫게 되지요?
제가 이 질문을 하는 이유는
많은 사람들이 병자의 치유를 위해서만 안수를 생각하기 때문입니다.
혹은 우리는 리더들이 사람들을 성령으로 충만케 하기 위해서 안수하는 것을 보곤 했습니다. 그러면 얼마나 많은 기름 부음 받은 리더들이 자신들이 받은 기름 부음을
나누어 주고 풀어 주는 목적으로 안수하고 있습니까?
“거저 받았으니, 저도 제가 받은 기름 부음을 안수함으로 당신에게 거저 드립니다”
라고 말하는 사람이 많이 있습니까?
The writer to the Hebrew Christians exhorts them in their high calling, and then he mentions the doctrine of the “laying on of hands” (Heb. 6:2). Before we take a look at the laying on of hands, I want to ask a question. In what context do we usually envision the laying on of hands? I ask this because most of us think of the laying on of hands for the healing of the sick don’t we? Or we might see leaders laying their hands on people who want to be filled with the Holy Spirit. But how many anointed leaders are functioning in the laying on of hands for the purpose of releasing and giving away the anointing that they have? Are there many who say, “As I freely received, I’m going to lay hands on you to give to you the anointing that I received?”

받고 주는 것에 대한 예수님의 말씀에서 우리는 원칙을 찾을 수 있습니다:
“병자에게 치유를 주고, 죽은 자를 일으키고, 만질 수 없는 자를 만져라.
귀신을 쫓아라. 네가 관대하게 대우 받았으니, 관대하게 살아라”

원칙은 이렇습니다.
우리가 관대하게 대우 받았으니 우리는 관대히 살 필요가 있습니다.
또 다른 번역본(NKJV)에는:

너희가 값없이 받았으니 값없이 주어라.”
우리가 하나님으로부터 기름 부음을 받으며,
누군가 우리에게 관대하고 값없이 기름 부음을 주므로
우리는 자유함으로 가서 하나님의 위대한 일을 하게 됩니다.
저는 “받고 주는” 이 원칙이 역시 기름 부음을 나누어 주는데도 적용된다고 믿습니다.
우리가 하나님의 사역을 하도록 하나님으로부터 기름 부음을 받았다면,
우리는 값없이, 관대히 그 기름 부음을 믿는 자에게(성령께서 지명하시는 자)
나누어 주거나 임파테이션 할 수 있습니다.
그래서 그들 역시 그 기름 부음으로 하나님을 위해 일하도록 말입니다.
There is a principle found in Jesus’ words about receiving and giving: “Bring health to the sick. Raise the dead. Touch the untouchables. Kick out the demons. You have been treated generously, so live generously” (Matt. 10:8 The Message). The principle is this. When we’ve been treated generously, then we need to live generously. In another translation (NKJ) this verse is worded this way: “Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.” When we receive an anointing from God, Who gives to us generously and freely, then we’re meant to go and do exploits with great liberality. But having said that, I believe the “receiving and giving” principle also applies to giving away the anointing. Listen. When we receive an anointing from God to do exploits, we can freely and generously give or impart that anointing to believers (designated by the Holy Spirit) so that they can operate in the anointing and do exploits for God, too.

하나님의 은사는 물론 성령의 인도하심 아래서 대게 성숙하고 기름 부음 받은,
지정되고, 성경을 믿는 리더들의 안수를 통해 전달되거나 임파테이션 될 수 있습니다.
우리는 그러한 은사들을 활발하게 움직이도록 할 필요가 있습니다.
바울이 디모데에게 무엇이라고 했나요? 이렇게 말했습니다:
“디모데, 나는 네가 받은 하나님의 은사를 불일 듯 일으키고 싶구나”(딤후1:6).
디모데는 어떻게 하나님의 은사를 받았나요? 바로 안수를 통해서입니다.
The gifts of God can be transferred or imparted through the laying on of hands under the direction of the Holy Spirit, usually by mature, anointed, appointed, Bible-believing leaders. And we need to stir up those gifts. Do you know what Paul told Timothy? He said something like this: “Timothy, I want you to stir up the gift of God that you received” (2 Tim. 1:6). How did Timothy receive the gift of God? By the laying on of hands.

자 그러면 믿는 자들이 기름 부음의 임파테이션을 받는데

So let’s examine several different factors that help believers to receive an impartation of anointing.

Last week in Part 1, we discussed receiving an impartation for anointing through the laying on of hands, as well as four principles that go hand in hand with receiving an impartation of anointing. This week in Part 2 of Principles of Impartation, I want to share about the import!!ance of activating the anointing after it is imparted. Then we will discuss the high priority God places on our heart-attitude in the area of giving and how our generosity is noticed by God.

PRINCIPLES OF IMPARTATION
임파테이션의 원칙들

하나님은 그를 따르는 자들이 기름 부음 속에서 임무를 다하길 원하십니다.
그로 인해, 하나님은 기름 부음을 받은 자들이 다른 믿는 자들에게 전수하기 위해서
특별한 기름 부음을 가진 성숙한 크리스천들을 지도할 것입니다.

God wants His followers to function in the anointing. Therefore, He will direct mature Christians who have a particular anointing, to impart to other believers, an anointing they have received. And when believers receive an impartation of anointing, they need to get out of their comfort zone and operate in that anointing!

We Must Activate an Impartation of Anointing
우리는 기름 부음의 임파테이션을 활성화해야 합니다

주는 것은 액션입니다!

Giving is an action! And it takes action to get something accomplished. Sometimes we have to exercise or practice an action in order to perfect it. When we receive an impartation of anointing, let's say for healing, we need to actually go and pray for the sick. And do it again and again! That seems like such simple logic. Yet, so often we want an anointing, but are we faithful stewards of that anointing? Are we doing anything with it? The fact is, if we aren't activating the anointing we're actually squandering it by failing to take advantage of what God has imparted to us.

기름 부음이 활동적이지 않다면,
하나님은 왜 우리에게 기름 부음을 주시는 것일까요?(예, 아픈자를 위한 기도)

Why should God anoint us if we're not going to activate the anointing (i.e. pray for the sick)? Why should God anoint us if we're not going to pursue the lost or if we're not going to serve the Lord? Listen. As quickly as we receive an anointing from God we need to use it! I tell people that within two days (of me praying for them) they need to step out. [I take that piece of advice for myself because the Holy Spirit said to me that the day I stop praying for people to receive the healing anointing that He gave me, the day I stop making it available for everyone else, is the day that He will take it from my life.]

여러분은 엘리사가 엘리야의 영을 갑절이나 받은 것을 아십니까?
활동적인 기름 부음의 임파테이션으로.

Do you know how Elisha received the double portion of the spirit of Elijah?
By activating the impartation of that anointing. Let's take a look at how he did this. When Elisha received the mantle of Elijah (the double portion of the spirit of Elijah/2 Ki. 2:9-14), all his peers were watching to see if he really received the anointing (v.7).
He must have wondered, too! Even after he picked up Elijah's mantle he didn't actually “have it” because he still needed to do what he had seen his master do. And so he struck the waters (v. 14) just like Elijah did a few minutes earlier (v. 8). Well, the water parted just like it parted for Elijah! The sons of the prophets saw what happened and they came to meet him and with great respect, bowed down before him (v. 15).

When Elisha believed that he really had the anointing he went out and tested it
and he did the same stuff that he saw his master doing. At that point the anointing kicked in and he had a double portion of what Elijah had.

In our meetings I pray for believers to receive the healing anointing, but until they do what I do they'll never have it. When I lay hands on believers to impart to them the healing anointing, I tell them to go and do the stuff or they'll lose it. And here's what I tell pastors in my meetings. “If you really believe that you received the healing anointing then the first thing that you should do when you get home is to have a healing service. If you really believe you have it, go have a crusade. Or go to Africa , set up a sound system in the market place and start preaching the gospel. Just go for it.”
